Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to some rather worrying claims surrounding Gareth Bale.

Spurs fans were naturally excited when the Welshman returned to the club from Real Madrid on loan back in the summer window, but as has become something of a recurring theme throughout his career, his time at the club has been hampered by injuries, with the 31-year-old only managing to play 11 games so far this season.

And now it looks like it has all come to a head. According to a report in Spanish outlet Sport, Jose Mourinho has ‘lost confidence’ in the Welshman, with his latest setback supposedly one of the main factors.

And it looks as if that news has angered a couple of the Spurs faithful as well, as they took to social media to blast Bale over being such a nuisance during his second spell:

“Good riddance”

“It’s almost as if he’s 31, injury prone, and hasn’t been good for ~2 years. who could’ve known?”
“Good. Use his salary money to give Kane,Son, Hojbjerg and Reggy a raise.”
“Probably the worst legend return in history”
“He should pack his bags now”
“First decent think Jose has done since joining the club”
“Teir??? I don’t believe this”
“Whattttt”

Now we just wait and see whether or not Spurs are going to send him back or keep hold of him and hope that his situation gets better.
