Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently swooned over a report regarding Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos.

Reports emerged last week from the Evening Standard which stated that Jose Mourinho is keeping tabs on the Spanish defender as his contract is up in the summer.

This has more recently been followed up by a report from Marca, which has claimed that Ramos has said ‘no’ to Real Madrid over extending his contract.

The deal from Los Blancos was a one-year extension that would see him earn roughly the same amount that he is currently on.

Despite this seemingly positive news for the link with Spurs, Marca’s report makes no mention of Tottenham, however, it is stated that he is gaining ‘attention’.

The report was relayed to Spurs fans on Twitter by Talking THFC and it had lots of them gushing.
