Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter to criticise the first-half performance of Gedson Fernandes in the club’s FA Cup tie against Marine.

Since joining Spurs on an 18-month loan deal back in January 2020, Fernandes has so far gone on to feature 14 times for the club, scoring no goals and providing no assists.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

So far this season, the £12.15 million-rated 22-year-old has found game time incredibly hard to come by under Jose Mourinho, having not featured at all in the Premier League, being left out of the Portuguese manager’s squad for the Europa League and playing just once in the club’s Carabao Cup campaign.

However, the midfielder was given the nod to start the club’s third-round tie against non-league side Marine on Sunday, although, many fans of the club were left furious with the Portugal U21 international’s first-half display.

Should Gedson's loan be cancelled?
