Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter to slam Dele Alli’s performance in the club’s FA Cup fixture against Marine.

Despite initially impressing after Jose Mourinho took over as Tottenham Hotspur manager back in November 2019, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the Premier League under the 57-year-old last season, it has been a rather different story for Alli so far in the club’s 2020/21 campaign.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

Over the course of the season, the £34.2 million-rated midfielder has played just 74 minutes of Premier League football over four appearances in the league, as well as starting just two games in the Europa League.

And, after Mourinho gave Alli the nod to start the club’s third-round FA Cup tie against non-league side Marine, despite providing a first-half assist and earning a match rating of 9/10 for his display, fans of Tottenham took to Twitter to criticise the 24-year-old’s performance in the match.

@Seancgalway

“Is Dele on the pitch?#coys #thfc”

@RB_THFC

I doubt Dele trying (and failing) backheel pass less than a minute into the match is what Mourinho wanted… #THFC #COYS”

@Kevrov

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Tottenham Hotspur fans were not happy with Alli’s performance against Marine, with some questioning whether the midfielder was even on the pitch, while others claimed that the 24-year-old is finished at the club.
