Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which related a report regarding Spurs’ interest in Real Madrid centre-back, Eder Militao.

According to the report by Sport Bild, Madrid are keen to loan the £27 million-rated 23-year-old out in the January transfer window, with the German publication suggesting that both Bayern Munich and Spurs could be interested in taking the Brazilian off the hands of Los Blancos.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

Following his £45 million move to Madrid from FC Porto in the summer of 2019, Militao went on to feature 20 times in all competitions for the club in their 2019/20 campaign, helping his side to win the Supercopa de Espana and La Liga titles.

However, so far this season, the Brazil international has found game time increasingly hard to come by under Zinedine Zidane, making just three appearances in all competitions in the club’s 2020/21 campaign.

And, after Hotspur Related relayed the Sport Bild report on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with some claiming that Militao would be the signing of the current transfer window, while others appeared less than convinced about the legitimacy of their club’s interest.
