According to the report by Football Insider, a source has claimed that the Spurs captain has rejected a ‘very lucrative contract offer’ which has fueled ‘growing doubts over his long-term future’ in north London.

In recent weeks, the £10.8 million-rated 34-year-old has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, as the French side have appointed former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, as their new manager.

However, Tottenham are said to be ‘set for further talks’ with the ‘keeper, as they do not want him to enter the final year of his current deal, which is due to expire in the summer of 2022, without a new agreement in place.

So far this season, Lloris has highly impressed over his 16 Premier League appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side, conceding 15 goals and keeping six clean sheets, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.82 – ranking him as the club’s eighth best performer in the top flight.
