Tottenham Hotspur are optimistic that Harry Kane will make a swift return from injury, according to The Telegraph.
Kane was withdrawn at half-time by Jose Mourinho, after struggling with an ankle injury during the first-half of their 3-1 defeat against Liverpool.
The England forward has 19 goals and 14 assists to his name from 29 appearances in all competitions, as Spurs sit sixth in the Premier League table heading into their match against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday evening.
Kane is predicted to have sustained a lower grade of ankle ligament damage, which will mean that he could return to action sooner than first originally feared.
He’ll be absent from the squad for the game against the Seagulls though, where Jose Mourinho’s side will be eager to get back to winning ways, where they would move ahead of London rivals West Ham United with a win against Graham Potter’s men.
Plenty of Spurs supporters were quick to take to social media to react to the positive update on Kane’s injury.
