Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to a report linking Harry Winks with a move to Spanish club Valencia.

According to a report by AS, it is claimed that Javi Gracia’s La Liga side is interested in bringing the English midfielder to the Mestalla Stadium.

Not only are Valencia interested, but it is also claimed that Jose Mourinho’s side is ‘open‘ to the idea of letting Winks leave the club.

Furthermore, the 24-year-old middleman ‘welcomes‘ the move as he is eyeing a spot in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the upcoming European Championships.

Due to the fact that Spurs are after an ‘economic amount‘ for Winks, though, the talks are ‘open‘ but ‘without progress‘.

This report was relayed to Tottenham fans on Twitter by Last Word On Spurs and it had lots of them airing their thoughts.

So far this season, Winks has made seven Premier League appearances for Spurs, in which he has neither scored a goal nor has he provided an assist (per WhoScored).

His performances, too, have been poor as he has earned a weak 6.34/10 average rating, making him the fourth-worst performer for Tottenham in the league this term.

As can be seen in these responses from Tottenham fans, many of them felt that it would not be a good idea to let the midfielder depart the club for Valencia.
