Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which commented on Tanguy Ndombele’s reacting to being substituted in Spurs’ victory against Leeds United on Saturday.

So far this season, Ndombele has featured in 14 of Tottenham’s 16 Premier League fixtures, however, the £40.5 million-rated 24-year-old is yet to play the full 90 minutes of any league match.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

This was the case once again in the 3-0 victory against Leeds on Saturday, when, in the 78th minute, Ndombele was withdrawn for Lucas Moura.

And, according to Hotspur Related, upon leaving the field of play, the Frenchman headed straight down the tunnel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, rather than joining the substitutes bench and waiting for the end of the game.

In reaction, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter on Twitter, with many stating that they don’t blame the midfielder, due to the sheer number of times he has been withdrawn from a fixture so far this season.

Do you think that Ndombele is happy at Tottenham?

So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Tanguy Ndombele walking down the tunnel?

“Mourinho will never change, they have the opportunity to score more goals, but sitting back against Leeds.”

@lamido_2

“He wasn’t happy with being taken off. That was obvious. Thought he was good again today. Not a Mourinho player though. The set up of this team will not get the best of him. I’d be surprised if he’s at Spurs next season”

@zen_pursuit

“So what ? Did you expect him to be happy being substituted?”

@HayroKara

“I’m not surprised! Keeps getting taken off for no reason! Best player against wolves, taken off at half time!”

@LJW06_85

“Body language says a lot and reflects a players mentality and IMO he never looks happy. I just don’t feel the Tottenham bonding is there.”

@Michael_kay14

“He didn’t look happy when he came off, but I doubt it’s anything too serious, probably just wanted to see out the 90”

@scotthreferee

“Don’t blame him keeps being taken off for no reason. Lucas M replaced him”

@t111eom

“He was muttering when he walked out”

@DevMichaelAlo

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Tottenham Hotspur fans can understand Ndombele’s reaction to being substituted, as some claim that the player clearly wants to play a full 90, while others stated their belief that they would be surprised if the midfielder is still at the club next season.
