A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

One of the clubs that McGarry spent a lot of time on was Tottenham Hotspur, and he provided news on Gareth Bale’s future with his loan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium set to expire at the end of this season.

It seems that, as it stands, Spurs have no plans to extend the loan or permanently sign the 31-year-old, despite Jose Mourinho reportedly being undecided on his future.

He said: (13:54) “Our information is that it’s highly unlikely that he will be loaned again to Tottenham Hotspur for next season, nor indeed will the transfer be made permanent back to his former club.”

Do you want Bale to stay beyond his loan?

TIF Thoughts on Bale’s future…

If what McGarry says is true, then Bale’s stay in north London might turn out to be shorter than he hoped it would be.

He has delivered some poor performances when he has played in both the Europa League and the Premier League.

There are also claims that Jose Mourinho is beginning to grow tired of Bale, so things are not looking great for the former Southampton man.

Bale, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, was once considered a world-class talent, but his career then stagnated at Real Madrid and this move back to Tottenham, so far, has not worked.

If everything continues to go the way it has been, then we wouldn’t be surprised to see Bale return to Real at the end of this season.

However, it will be interesting to see if Bale can turn this around and secure himself a permanent deal once again with Spurs.
