A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been responding to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs news Twitter account @HotspurRelated which shared Sky Sports’ update on Dele Alli’s situation at the north London club.

This comes after Sky Sports reported that Alli is ‘the one to watch’ with regard to departures from Spurs in January.

It’s been claimed that the club doesn’t want him to leave and would prefer to see him fight for his place under Jose Mourinho, with the 24-year-old having fallen out of favour under the Portuguese coach, making the starting XI in just 7% of the Lilywhites’ games this term.

While the club is reportedly ‘likely to resist’ a loan departure for the £34.2m-rated man in January, Mourinho is said to be ‘unconvinced’ about him, which indicates that his game time isn’t looking particularly likely to change any time soon.

So, how have these Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted to this update on Alli?

After this news was shared by @HotspurRelated, many Spurs fans reacted negatively to it, sharing that they disagree with Mourinho’s stance on Alli.
