So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this transfer news concerning Fernandes?

“No great loss for me. Not forgiven him for his penalty against Norwich. Utter rubbish.”

“bye.”

Spurs signed the midfield man on a loan deal from Benfica in the previous January transfer window on an 18-month deal. Since then, the 22-year-old has only managed to make 14 appearances for the north London club across all competitions, failing to score a goal or provide an assist along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Has Gedson Fernandes been a flop for Spurs?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Despite the midfielder earning himself a solid match rating of 8.16/10 for his performance in Spurs’ recent 5-0 win over Marine in the FA Cup, it appears that these fans would not be too bothered if Fernandes left the club this month, which just goes to show how much they think of the midfielder and his time at the club.
