Newly-appointed PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly made contact with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli according to Foot Mercato.

Alli has found regular game time hard to come by this season under the management of Jose Mourinho, with the midfielder making just 11 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this term.

The 24-year-old will surely cut a frustrated figure with Mourinho’s side at this moment in time, with Alli making 38 appearances last season for Spurs, as they finished sixth in the Premier League.

It had previously been reported by the Daily Mail that Spurs were prepared to let Alli leave the club, with PSG rumoured to be interested in striking a deal with them over a potential loan move.

The French giants have recently appointed former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as their new boss, and he’s seemingly keen to work with the 24-year-old again.

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters took to social media to react to Pochettino’s rumoured pursuit of Alli early into the January transfer window.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below.

“The best scenario for all parties is if he leaves on loan to play regularly. He’s not playing well for us whenever he steps out on the pitch, what’s the point in keeping him?”
