Newly-appointed PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly made contact with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli according to Foot Mercato.
Alli has found regular game time hard to come by this season under the management of Jose Mourinho, with the midfielder making just 11 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this term.
The French giants have recently appointed former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as their new boss, and he’s seemingly keen to work with the 24-year-old again.
Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters took to social media to react to Pochettino’s rumoured pursuit of Alli early into the January transfer window.
Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below.
“The best scenario for all parties is if he leaves on loan to play regularly. He’s not playing well for us whenever he steps out on the pitch, what’s the point in keeping him?”
“That’ll be an illegal approach then!”
“Don’t contact our players directly. Not Mr. Nice Guy anymore that he has all the oil money.”
“That’s completely false and untrue unless Spurs gave permission and I seriously doubt they did.”
“He contacted Dele like there’s no tomorrow.”
“Isn’t that called tapping up.”
“The day will come.. how sad it is.”
