are reportedly considering making a bid of £20 million for Norwich City defender Max Aarons according to The Sunday Mirror (24th January, page 72).

Aarons has been a regular for the Canaries in the Championship this season, having made 27 appearances in total for Daniel Farke’s side in all competitions.

Norwich are currently sat top of the second-tier standings after their opening 25 matches of this year’s campaign, and Farke is clearly keen to keep hold of the full-back.

Spanish giants Barcelona were previously believed to be interested in a deal to sign Aarons, but Farke revealed that he would turn down a bid of £100 million.

But it appears as though his recent performances have caught the eye of Spurs, with Mourinho’s side weighing up a move for the 21-year-old before the January transfer window reaches a conclusion.

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters took to social media to their thoughts on the club’s rumoured interest in signing Aarons.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below.

“Norwich arguably have at least 3 players who get in to our first team (Skipp, Buendia, Aarons). Shows how a job our recruitment team has done over the past 5 years.”
