Manchester City have recently been dealt a frustrating injury blow, with Pep Guardiola confirming that Pep Guardiola is set to be ruled out of action for up to six weeks.

De Bruyne picked up the injury in a recent win over Aston Villa, and wasn’t involved for their Fourth Round of the FA Cup match against League Two side Cheltenham Town.

The Belgian midfielder has made 23 appearances for Guardiola’s side this season, and has chipped in with three goals and 15 assists in all competitions this term.

But his latest injury could see him miss Manchester City’s game against Tottenham Hotspur on the 13th February. Jose Mourinho’s side are currently sat fifth in the Premier League table, and will be hoping they can pick up a positive result against Guardiola’s men.

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters took to social media to react to the news of De Bruyne potentially being absent for the clash against Spurs.
