Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a claim that Real Madrid are interested in opening talks with Spurs regarding a move for Heung-min Son.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, ‘follows Heung-min Son closely’ and Real and Tottenham ‘will soon meet’ in order for the La Liga side to ‘get information about the player’.
Son, who joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in what was a £27 million deal back in 2015, has highly impressed over his 15 Premier League appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.45 – ranking him as the club’s second-best performer in the top flight.
And, after The Spurs Express relayed Konur’s claim on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on Madrid’s potential interest in the £81 million-rated 28-year-old, with many left furious by the idea of Son leaving the club.
