How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

One of the teams that he spent a little bit of time on was Tottenham Hotspur, and he suggested that an ideal signing for Jose Mourinho’s men would be Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Spurs in the past but was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the last transfer window.

Still, nothing happened, and he remained with Borussia Dortmund, where he has made 18 appearances, scored four goals, and provided eight assists in all competitions.

Sancho has been described as “the perfect footballer” by Lothar Matthaus, and it seems as if Hendrick thinks that he would be the ideal addition for Spurs.

He said: (39:05) “For Spurs, I would go [with] Jadon Sancho.

“I think they need more creativity; I think they need someone that predominantly plays on the right-hand-side, which suits him.

“I think Kane and Son would have an absolute blast playing with him.

“I think he would be brilliant for them.”

TIF Thoughts on Sancho and Tottenham…

Considering Spurs posted huge financial losses from the current pandemic and the fact that they spent just under £70m in the last transfer window (excluding Giovani Lo Celso because he was signed in January), we would think it is unlikely that, at the moment, Tottenham could afford a player who Dortmund wanted around £108m for.

However, because Sancho can be world-class, we agree with Hendrick that he would be a great addition.

Both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have had superb seasons, and if they linked up with Sancho, then the results could be pretty special.

However, we are not convinced that Tottenham could afford Sancho at this moment in time, so this might be a non-starter.
