Tottenham Hotspur journalist Alasdair Gold has been sharing his criticism for Spurs trio Erik Lamela, Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon for their breach of government and club protocols over the Christmas period.

This comes after Gold recently uploaded a video onto his YouTube channel where he spoke about a number of topics concerning the north London club.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

On the topic of the trio’s actions over Christmas, Gold had this to say on the matter. (10.12)

He said: “I know there’s a lot of very unhappy people within the club that this happened and, you know, in some cases, certainly I know the club either rent or own certain buildings that will have a number of players within it. So, you know, some people might say, ‘oh but you could gather because technically, you’re within a household under the same roof.’

“That wasn’t the case there’s there are just no excuses for this, 18 people I can’t stop repeating it I’m sorry, but it was just so daft. It was everything that people have been told not to do this Christmas.”

After an image of the Spurs trio at a party with their friends and family emerged online, the club released a statement saying that they were “extremely disappointed and strongly condemn” the image of the trio, particularly as they “know the sacrifices everybody around the country made to stay safe over the festive period.”

Do you think Lamela, Lo Celso and Reguilon should be fined?

TIF Thoughts on Alasdair Gold’s comments on the Spurs trio and their party…

With Spurs manager Jose Mourinho confirming that Lamela is now not available to play in the club’s midweek Carabao Cup semi-final against Brentford after being left out of the squad for their recent Premier League match against Leeds United, he certainly seems to have let himself and his teammates down, as well as Lo Celso and Reguilon.

In our view, the trio certainly have let themselves down by breaching these very important rules and should perhaps be fined for their actions.
