Many Newcastle United fans have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Toon fan and podcast host Steve Wraith which shared an image of the Newcastle technical area during their 2-0 Premier League win over Everton on Saturday afternoon.
In this image, the North East club’s new coach, Graeme Jones, looks animated while seemingly shouting instructions at the Toon’s players, while manager Bruce is standing beside Jones and glancing at him. Wraith captioned this post, saying: ‘A picture tells a thousand words…..‘
So, how have these Newcastle United fans been reacting to this image?
This image caught many Toon supporters’ attention after it was shared by Wraith on Twitter, with some of those who responded to this tweet indicating that they think Jones has shown Bruce up.
“Clueless Bruce”
“#ZEROPASSION from Bruce”
“Bruce really looks uninterested.”
“How embarrassing”
“The fact that Jones looks like more of a leader than Bruce is frightening”
“Steves only contribution to this team is sometimes shouting “go on miggy” as he chases down a ball he’s given away”
Should Jones be Newcastle's manager?
YES
NO
“Unreal isn’t it buzzing the teams won still absolutely detest Bruce”
“Hahaha, that look.
Wow!!”
Judging by these tweets, it seems like plenty of Toon fans believe that the new coach is more responsible for Newcastle ending their winless run of 11 games in all competitions than Bruce is.
