Supporters of Newcastle United have recently reacted to a report on the potential for Eddie Howe to replace Steve Bruce as the Toon’s boss.

A recent report by Chronicle Live, discussed speculation surrounding the possibility of Mike Ashley replacing Bruce at St. James’ Park.

Supposedly, the former Bournemouth manager, Howe, is one of the bookies’ favourites to take the hotseat in the north east should Bruce get the chop.

However, there is also speculation of Howe replacing the struggling Neil Lennon at Celtic Park.

This led Chronicle Live to suggest that time is running out for the Toon to try to appoint the former Cherries gaffer and they should ‘make their move’ in the next 24 hours if they want him.

The report was shared on Twitter by The Chronicle and it had lots of fans talking.
