A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC 360 which includes quotes from DeAndre Yedlin.

Starting with an easy one, how much did Joelinton cost Newcastle when he swapped Hoffenheim for Tyneside?

The American, speaking to CBS Sports HQ has until the end of June left on his contract and he claims that he has not had any communication from the club about his future.

He doesn’t know if they want to keep him or if they want him to leave, saying: “I have six months left on my contract.

“It has been a bit frustrating because me and my agent have had no communication with Newcastle at all about what their plans are for me, if I can go or if they want me to stay. It has been kind of a tough time and obviously I want to keep my head on football and just play my game but there are distractions like that that unfortunately make it a bit tough.”

Parts of these quotes drew in these Toon fans, who are fuming.

sums the club up . it’s a deserted ship that’s floundering on the rocks .”

Lack of communication runs deeper than just to the fans. What a shambles.”

Join the club mate. None of us fans have had any communication from the club for years about what their plans are. We’re a sleepwalking hollow shell vehicle for generating retail revenue through advertising. With some ‘football’ as a by-product. “

Do you think Yedlin should leave?

Yes, he isn't good enough

Yes, he isn't good enough

No, give him a new deal

No, give him a new deal

The Toon have quite a few players whose contracts all expire at the end of the season, and as of yet, none of them have had their contracts sorted out apart from Ciaran Clark who just signed a new deal.

So, it is unclear what is going on, and these comments from Yedlin continued to draw in angry Newcastle fans who had their say.

Classic Newcastle. If we ignore the problem, it stops being a problem.”

The Toon is a total joke of a club”

Amateurish in all areas”

“Charnley and Ashley at their usual best”

Yedlin has made 125 appearances for the Toon and has been a loyal servant for them and played more games on Tyneside than he has for any other club, so surely he deserves to know what is happening with his future?

Certainly, these Newcastle fans are annoyed that Yedlin doesn’t know what is going on.
