Newcastle United fans have been left encouraged by the performance of Allan Saint-Maximin during their loss to Leeds United.
The Frenchman has been out of action for a large spell recently, and is slowly getting his way back up to full fitness having come off the bench in their last game against Aston Villa, and doing the same tonight, replacing Jacob Murphy just after the hour mark.
He didn’t have a lot of time to impress, but he managed to do exactly that, getting away one shot that was blocked, completing 100% of his passes and completing two dribbles. Which was enough to leave a lot of Newcastle fans hopeful that if he can get up to speed, they might not be in trouble for much longer:

Having been in the same position for most of last year, hopefully he will be able to get a run of games at some point this season, because he clearly has something to offer the club, he just hasn’t had much of a chance to show it up on Tyneside.
