A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Aaron Stokes, which contains a transfer update on the Toon.
The Daily Star reporter claims that Newcastle are one of the clubs chasing Genoa’s Lukas Lerager and that they are competing with Brentford for his signature.
However, he claims that a deal for Hamza Choudhury is more likely.
Stokes also states that Achraf Lazaar has asked to leave the club and that AC Milan are interested.
This news has baffled these Toon fans who cannot believe that Milan would be interested in signing a player who has made just ten appearances for Newcastle since he signed for them in 2016.
