A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from The Chronicle regarding the future of Rolando Aarons.
They claim that he looks set to end his time on Tyneside with a move to Huddersfield Town.
Aarons has not played in a first-team match for the Toon since December 2017 against Manchester City, and now it looks like finally, he will be leaving.
This has drawn these Toon fans’ attention who don’t seem to be too bothered about this news.
“About time”
“Who?”
Do you think this is the right time for Aarons to leave?
Yes, he has been here long enough now
No, he should stay
Other Toon fans, though, are a bit more sympathetic and are hoping that Aarons does well.
“Wish we gave him more of a chance wishing him luck tho”
“That’s a good move considering he failed at Wycombe and Motherwell on loan, anyways good luck to him”
“rooting for him so hard”
“Good luck to the lad. Wasting away where he is.”
The 25-year-old burst onto the scene for Newcastle in the 2014/15 season and was set for a big role, but a serious injury ruled him out for 27 games before two more serious injuries in the 2016/17 season ruled him out for a further 45 matches.
So, you could say that Aarons has been unlucky with injury, and we hope that he can still have a successful career.
