Given how the 20-year-old has only played six minutes of action for the Manchester club in the Premier League so far this season, it’s understandable why Newcastle would have been looking at trying to sign him on a loan deal to give him some regular playing time.

Would you be disappointed if Newcastle didn't sign Williams this month?

However, looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Newcastle fans aren’t too disheartened by the idea of Williams not joining the club on loan this month.
