Supporters of Newcastle United have fumed over a transfer link between the Toon and Manchester United’s Brandon Williams.

According to a report by the Shields Gazette, a ‘framework’ has supposedly been agreed in principle to see the full-back move to St. James’ Park on loan.

However, Steve Bruce’s side is supposedly not alone in its interest as there are a ‘host of clubs‘ that are interested in signing the player from the Red Devils.

One of the factors which has brought about the decision to move for Williams is reportedly the fact that Jamal Lewis is ‘struggling to settle a little‘ following his move from Norwich City.

This report was shared on Twitter by NUFC 360 and it had lots of Newcastle fans talking.
