A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC 360, which claims that Steve Bruce will remain as the manager of the Toon at least until the end of the season.
Included in the replies, there is a link to a report in The Chronicle, which caught the eye of a number of Newcastle fans as it states that Bruce is set to stay in charge until the end of the season at least, as well as explaining about possible loan signings and Graeme Jones.
However, to these Toon fans, that is not enough who think that their club will be relegated if Bruce remains.
“This club is dead then”
“Announce relegation”
“Clueless we are going down, but maybe it will be for the good of the club to finally get mike Ashley out”
“It’s so disrespectful to the fans and players, they deserve better”
Do you think this is the right decision?
No, he needs to go now
Yes, this new structure could save us
The Toon have failed to win any of their last ten games, and Bruce refused to answer questions from the written press before Newcastle’s fixture against Leeds United.
You would think this is a must-win game for Bruce and the Toon or the pressure could further increase.
Certainly, these Toon fans have had enough and want him gone.
“I’m done.”
“We’ll get relegated then. The players ain’t bothered, because if they are really worth their salt, they’ll get snapped up by bottom half PL teams looking to strengthen. We’ll sell to cut the wage margin. Their trying to force Bruce’s hand, it’s a win win for them.”
“‘Poor run of results” Thats one way of looking at it.. Complete shambles . Lampard sacked whilst Bruce stays on speaks volumes about contrasting ambitions in the boardroom.”
“Mind-blowing”
We will have to see if Bruce does remain until the end of the season, but for now, the club seem to be doing all they can to avoid sacking their manager, which has not gone down well with these Toon fans.
