Easy one to get us underway, in what month during 2019 was Steve Bruce appointed Newcastle manager?

De Marco tweeted that he had met with NUFC on Saturday and had been invited to attend the match as he continues to help Ashley to try and force the takeover through.

De Marco, along with Shaheed Fatima, was appointed by Ashley in September last year as he looked for a way to force the proposed takeover of the Toon by PCP Capital Partners, PIF, and the Reuben brothers through, after it was withdrawn in July.

This legal challenge by the club against the Premier League was made public in November, and De Marco’s tweet suggests that conversations are still happening.

This post by Ashley’s lawyer has drawn in these Toon fans who are buzzing with this post.

Help us @nickdemarco_ you’re our only hope……..
