Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

One of the clubs that he spent a bit of time on was Leeds United and he revealed that he thinks the Whites should bring Lewis Cook back to Elland Road.

The 23-year-old made 85 appearances for Leeds before he joined Bournemouth in the summer of 2016 and he has been with them ever since.

This season Cook has been in good form in the Championship, earning a 6.99 rating from his 18 appearances and Hendrick appears to think that Leeds should be trying to bring him back.

He said: (48:48) “For Leeds, I think a central midfielder; someone to give them a little bit more control in games would be really good and I have gone for Lewis Cook.

“Former Leeds player at Bournemouth, having a good season, but I think [he’s] far too good for the Championship.

“I think he would jump at a move back to Leeds; I think he would fit Bielsa’s style.

“He’s a very, very good player [and] I am a big, big fan.”

Would you want Cook back?

TIF Thoughts on Cook returning to Elland Road…

The 23-year-old, who is valued at £9 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been linked with a return to Leeds and it seems as if Hendrick thinks that it would be a good move and that he would suit Marcelo Bielsa’s style of play.

However, the Whites have five players who can play as central midfielders, so Leeds have options in that position and it could be unlikely that Bielsa would want other players for that position.

Cook has impressed in the Championship this season though and a return to the Premier League could happen at some point.

However, we are not sure that, at this moment in time, Leeds would be keen on bringing him back to Elland Road.
