Supporters of Leeds United have ripped into Mateusz Klich for spurring a chance in the first half against Tottenham Hotspur.

During the current round of Premier League fixtures, the Whites travelled to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on Jose Mourinho’s Spurs (per Premier League).

In the first half of the clash, with the scores at 0-0, an opportunity fell to Polish midfielder, Klich, and he wasted the chance to put his side ahead.

With 11 minutes on the clock, Ezgjan Alioski made his way down the left-hand side of the field before finding Jack Harrison, his cutback was then blocked by Matt Doherty and the ball fell to Klich (per BBC).

Instead of slotting beyond Hugo Lloris in Spurs’ goal, the midfielder hammered his shot over the bar.

Following the missed chance, lots of Leeds fans took to social media to slate the Polish international for the missed opportunity against Tottenham.
