Supporters of Leeds United have slammed defender Ezgjan Alioski for giving a penalty away against Tottenham Hotspur.
During the latest round of Premier League fixtures, Marcelo Bielsa’s side travelled to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and were beaten by Jose Mourinho’s Spurs (per Premier League).
In the game, the north London club was able to take the lead through a Harry Kane spot-kick midway through the first half (per BBC).
The penalty was awarded to the hosts after Illan Meslier attempted to clear the ball and possession found its way to Dutch winger Steven Bergwijn in the Whites’ box.
With Alioski on the wrong side of him, the North Macedonian international tripped the forward and Spurs were given the chance to open the scoring.
The incident had lots of the Elland Road faithful flocking to social media to slate Alioski.

Prior to the game with Tottenham, the left-back had made 14 appearances for Bielsa’s side in the Premier League during the current campaign (per Transfermarkt).
Having missed just two league matches, the North Macedonian international had provided two goals but no assists for his side prior to the trip to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
