A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to a post from Phil Hay during the Whites’ 3-1 win over Leicester City that confirms Raphinha was substituted
off because of an injury.
The Brazilian had earlier set up Patrick Bamford’s goal and had turned in a very good display as the Yorkshire Evening Post gave him a 9/10 for his performance.
Marcelo Bielsa could not say if Raphinha would be available for the match against Everton, but it is clear that these Leeds fans are worried about him.
“Wow all new guys out”
“Please lord no not him”
“Jeez. We need. To wrap him in cotton wool”
Are you worried about Raphinha?
Yes, hopefully he is fine
No, he will be back for the next game
Raphinha was signed for £16.72m from Rennes in the last transfer window, and he has gone on to make 16 appearances for the Whites in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists, so he has definitely had an impact.
The 24-year-old has played pretty consistently for Leeds since he made his league debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Whites will just have to hope that his injury isn’t too bad.
Certainly, these Leeds fans are hoping that he will be fine.
“Let’s hope just cramps”
“My whole life is pain Phil”
“Hopefully it’s not serious”
It is clear that many Whites fans are worried about Raphinha and given his start to life in the Premier League, we are not surprised to see many worried about this injury.
