Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

In his press conference, Bielsa revealed that Illan Meslier “has resolved his health issues” ahead of the match against Steve Bruce’s side before adding that Gaetano Berardi is due back in training shortly and that Adam Forshaw could return in the “not-too-distant future.”

This post from Pope then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their responses to this latest update.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say about this latest squad fitness update?

“Wow ok didn’t expect all that lol”

@stevemaher34

“Forshaw, that will be like a new signing.”

@darren_metcalfe

Meslier missed Leeds’ FA Cup defeat against Crawley Town and their following Premier League defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion due to a suspected illness.

Berardi has been injured since July 2020 with a cruciate ligament rupture whereas Forshaw has been out of action with a hip injury since September 2019 (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds fans are delighted to hear that Meslier is back available to play and that Forshaw and Berardi are making progress in their recoveries.

Given how Leeds conceded four goals in the two recent games that Meslier missed, it’s understandable why they are happy to have him back.
