Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Graham Smyth relayed Marcelo Bielsa’s comments regarding Tyler Roberts.

According to Smyth, when asked about the current situation of the young forward, Bielsa ‘asked for input’ from the Leeds media team, before stating that the £3.24 million-rated 21-year-old was ‘unavailable at the moment’.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

So far this season, Roberts has featured in eight Premier League fixtures for United, however, the former West Brom man has not played a minute of football since the club’s 5-2 victory against Newcastle United back in December, and was left out of the squad entirely for the club’s 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

And, after Smyth shared this information on Twitter, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many questioning whether the forward could be on his way out of the club the January transfer window.

Do you think Roberts is good enough for Leeds?

Yes

No

No

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Graham Smyth’s post on Twitter?

“Hes not good enough anyway”

@LufcHutchy

“On his way out. Sad to hear but it will do him good. Needs games.”

@Tonylufc28

“He needs a January loan. Nowhere near good enough unfortunately”

@FelixLUFC

“He is dire, thinks he is Messi- wouldnt be a starter at Rochdale!”

@Bridget21208388

“Definitely wouldn’t bat a eyelid if he left”

@dgreenwood87

“Bye”

@benIufc

“Roberts on his way by the sound of that”

@ismiseliam

“So that’s, erm, cryptic”

@markydh

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Leeds United fans would be unmoved if Roberts were to be loaned out or sold in January, with some claiming that the forward is not a Premier League standard player, while others stated their belief that the 21-year-old thinks he is better than he actually is.
