A number of Leeds United supporters have taken to social media to plead with Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul to sign for the club in the January transfer window.

The midfielder was previously linked with a move to Elland Road, but a deal failed to materialise during the summer, as De Paul remained with Udinese in Serie A.

De Paul has made 15 appearances for Udinese in all competitions this season, as they currently sit 12th in the league table after 13 matches this term.

Leeds United are currently sat 12th in the Premier League table, and the Elland Road faithful will be hoping that their side can put together a positive run of results at the earliest of opportunities, as they look to force themselves up the top-flight standings.

The Yorkshire-based side will be without Kalvin Phillips for their next league match against Brighton and Hove Albion, after the midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season in the recent 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

So, it could be an interesting January transfer window ahead for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and it’s fair to say that plenty of the Leeds United supporters want their side to renew their interest in signing De Paul.
