Speaking recently on the Ask Ornstein YouTube show, David Ornstein discussed Arsenal’s link with Inter Milan midfielder, Christian Eriksen.
Since making a £24.3 million move to Inter from Tottenham Hotspur back in January 2020, Eriksen has gone on to feature 39 times for I Nerazzurri, chipping in with four goals and providing three assists along the way.
However, so far this season, the £31.5 million-rated man has found game time hard to come by under Antonio Conte, playing a total of just 294 minutes of football over his nine Serie A appearances.
As a result, it has been reported that Inter would be willing to part with the Denmark international in the January transfer window, with Arsenal touted as a possible destination.
However, speaking on a recent episode of the Ask Ornstein YouTube show, the journalist all but ruled out a move from the red half of north London for the 28-year-old, claiming that Eriksen is not of the kind of attacking midfielder that Mikel Arteta is looking for.
He said: “Christian Eriksen is a player who many clubs have been linked with and I’ve consistently been told that Arsenal do not want to sign him. He’s not the age profile that they’re looking for.”
Would Eriksen be a good signing for Arsenal?

TIF Thoughts on David Ornstein’s comments regarding Arsenal’s interest in Christian Eriksen…
As such, although Arsenal have struggled to find the back of the net so far this season, with their 20 goals scored in the Premier League underperforming their expected goals total of 22.79, it would appear that, according to Ornstein, Eriksen will not be the answer to Arteta’s problems.
In addition to this, considering that Eriksen has struggled over the course of the last year, it would be questionable as to whether the 28-year-old would be able to provide the level creativity and goals that Arsenal so desperately require.
