Many Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter to slate Mateusz Klich over his performance in the Whites’ latest Premier League game versus Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Polish midfielder has played a significant role for the Yorkshire club this term, as he’s started every league game and, prior to today’s clash with Brighton, even managed to provide as many as five Premier League assists – the most of any Whites player.
However, despite that, plenty of Leeds supporters have been criticising Klich for his latest display, with the 30-year-old notably sending a shot over the bar from the edge of the box at the 15-minute mark, just two minutes before Neal Maupay gave the Seagulls the lead.
So, what have these Leeds United fans been saying about Klich?
Klich’s performance has led to some Leeds fans criticising his ability, while others shared that they don’t think his disappointing display is a one-off, indicating that they think he’s been delivering poor performances for a while.
“Klich hasn’t had the best start to this season has he”
“klich shooting over? shocked i tell you”
“Klich wastes too many chances for me #LUFC”
“Klich needs to learn to keep shots down”
“Klich has had some truly awful shots at goal recently #lufc #LEEBHA”
“Remember when Klich didn’t have spoons for feet? Those were the days #lufc”
Is this criticism fair?

NO
“What’s up with Klich? Looks awful recently?”
“We desperately need another option to Klich. He’s contributed nothing for weeks.”
All in all, it’s clear that many Leeds fans expect to see better from the £3.15m-rated Poland international.
