Leeds United fans were delighted to see some progress from defender Robin Koch on his way back from injury.
The defender, signed for £20m in the summer, has been out for the past few months following some problems with his knee, and to say that they need him now would be something of an understatement. Marcelo Bielsa’s men have gone three games without a win, conceding seven times during that spell.
However, it looks as if the 24-year-old German defender is back on the mend as he posted a photo to his Twitter feed of himself on an exercise bike, clearly as an indicator that he intends to be back on the training ground and the pitch very soon.
It was a picture that warmed Leeds United fans’ hearts, as they expressed how excited they were and how much they were looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch in the near future:
“Koch and llorente at the heart of our defence is all I dream of”
Would you class Robin Koch as a key player for the Whites?
No, he's not that good
Yes, he's a class player
Whilst Koch didn’t exactly make Leeds defensively solid whilst he was in the first-team, you’d imagine it would give a lot of people a lot more peace of mind to see him at the back once again, rather than having to shoehorn right-back Luke Ayling into that spot for much longer.
