Leeds United fans have been left in awe at a recent gesture made by head coach Marcelo Bielsa to a local band.

The Argentinian recently wrote Skylights a letter in which he complimented their work, calling it ‘beautiful’ whilst at the same time comparing it to Leeds United’s style of play, talking about the movements of players.

It was all a little too much for the band, as they took to Twitter to express their gratitude for a gesture that whilst it might seem small was clearly something that meant a lot to the York-based group. So when the news reached the other fans on social media, they were infatuated by the gesture, with some using it as a measuring stick for how big the band could become in the future:

“Might as well give up up now lads, future accolades will all just be a bit, meh now”

“He’s just great is MB. Honestly don’t think I’ve ever felt as connected to a manager before. What a guy. Clearly has good taste in music too”
“Now you KNOW you’ve arrived! Well done lads.”
“To get any positive feedback about your craft is always amazing. To get poetic feedback and from El Loco is beyond ‘off the hook’ Wow”
“That’s unreal, pack it in you’ve peaked… onwards and upwards”
“That’s amazing, forget about the music critics you won’t receive a better review than that!”
“That’s mega well deserved”

The love-in between Bielsa and the Leeds fans is nothing new at this point, but it just goes to show the levels that the head coach will go to ingratiate himself with the supporters.
