Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a transfer claim from Marcelo Bielsa on possible January incomings that was relayed by Phil Hay.

During the summer transfer window, the Whites sunk £96.1m on incomings and signed seven players permanently and one on loan (as per Transfermarkt).

So far this month, though, no money has been spent by the Yorkshire club and no players have come in.

Following a recent press conference by Bielsa, Hay relayed the claim that the Argentine manager is not expecting any incomings at Elland Road this month (per Phil Hay).

Supposedly, the Whites’ gaffer is ‘happy‘ with his squad as it is.

After the transfer claim was relayed to supporters on Twitter, lots of Leeds fans flocked to it to air their reactions.

So far this season, Bielsa’s Leeds have managed to win seven and draw two of their opening 18 matches in the top flight, while they have lost nine (per BBC).

The 23 points which they have accumulated over the outings have left the Whites in 12th, 11 points above the Premier League’s relegation zone.
