Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Facebook, which relayed a report regarding the falling of Helder Costa’s stock at the club.
The report by Leeds Live discusses the fact that, following the October arrival of Raphinha, Costa has played just 55 minutes of Premier League football for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and addresses whether the winger’s position in the squad is under threat from the abundance of talent the Whites seem to have in their U23 side.
However, according to Joe Donnohue, the journalist who wrote the article, the £10.8 million-rated 27-year-old is in no such danger from the club’s youth prospects, as, despite impressive displays for the U23 side, they are still some way off the level of Costa.
Although, after Leeds Live shared their article on Facebook, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing less certain than Donnohue that Costa will not find himself further down the pecking order at Elland Road sooner rather than later.
All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Leeds fans are not overly impressed with Costa, with some claiming that the winger does not seem interested in fighting for his place in the side, while others went as far to state that he is the player they would sell immediately, given the choice.
