Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Facebook, which relayed a report regarding Jack Harrison’s comments on the condition of the pitch at Elland Road.
In Beren Cross’ report for Leeds Live, the winger refused to criticise the surface at Elland Road, which Cross described as ‘one of the worst surfaces seen at the stadium in years’.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds (via Leeds Live), Harrison said: “It’s always the same for both sides. If it’s a good pitch or a bad pitch, it’s always the same for both sides.”
The report continued by stating that Andrea Radrizzani has ‘signed off a cheque of around £300,000’ for the resurfacing of the Leeds pitch, which is expected to be ‘fully bedded in and ready for action when Everton visit on February 3’.
However, after Leeds Live shared their report on Facebook, some fans of the club took aim at Harrison’s comments, claiming that the 24-year-old is somehow making excuses for his side’s recent 1-0 home loss against Brighton & Hove Albion.

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to the article regarding Jack Harrison’s comments?
All in all, it would appear that the majority of these Leeds fans are less than pleased with Harrison’s comments – despite the fact that the winger stated that the pitch was not an excuse for the side’s loss to Brighton – with many dubbing the 24-year-old’s comments as poor, while others claimed that the player was making excuses.
