Many Leeds United fans have been discussing transfer news about Ezgjan Alioski that recently emerged on social media.

It has recently been reported by Turkish outlet Fotospor that Galatasaray are keen on signing Alioski and it has been stated that they have already agreed a deal in principle to sign the Macedonian defender. The report also cites a source from North Macedonia that alleges the player wants a move to Galatasaray in order to claim a wage he feels he deserves.

Although, Phil Hay has claimed that Leeds are still speaking to Alioski about a new deal at Elland Road.

This update about Alioski was relayed on Facebook by Leeds United Live. Many Whites fans began talking about this news about the Macedonian.

What did Leeds fans make of this news about Ezgjan Alioski?

The 28-year-old has made 17 appearances in the Premier League this season and he has scored two goals. In the League Cup, he played and scored in their penalty shootout defeat to Hull City (as per Transfermarkt).

Alioski had arrived at Leeds from Swiss club Lugano in the summer of 2017 for a fee of £2.25 million. Some other Leeds fans also discussed the news about the defender.

Alioski has played at left-back this season but not just that, he has also played throughout the midfield.

13 Leeds players have picked up better ratings than him this season in the Premier League, though considering his goals and versatility, he might still add value to the Whites’ side – so perhaps Bielsa’s men should consider keeping him at Elland Road.
