Many Celtic fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by the Hoops’ official Twitter account which shared images of some of Celtic’s players ahead of the squad’s departure to Milan for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash with Serie A leaders AC Milan.
This tweet shared images of Hoops captain Scott Brown, Tom Rogic, Scott Bain and Greg Taylor as they got ready to depart for Milan where the Glasgow club will attempt to earn their first win of the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League group stage in what will be their fifth group stage fixture.
So, how did these Celtic fans react to the club’s tweet sharing these player images?

Some Hoops supporters replied to this tweet to share that they think Brown, Rogic, Taylor and Bain look unhappy in these images.
They all look miserable

Right lads, don’t look too happy now

Look like they can’t be bothered. Fear the worst for tomorrow to be honest

Every one of those photos are of players who are far from unified and behind the cause, shady paparazzi style photos of guys caught doing something they shouldn’t be

Are you confident about Celtic's chances of getting a result vs AC Milan?
YES
NO
Snap shots I know but they do not look a happy bunch?!!

The players need to have a good look at themselves. They are cheating the club and the fans.
It’s absolutely disgraceful how they have downed tools this season.

Last week’s 4-1 loss to Sparta Prague confirmed that Celtic will not progress beyond the Europa League group stage this term and as a result, perhaps it would be understandable if Celtic’s squad are not extremely happy ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Milan.
Judging by these replies to this tweet, it certainly seems as though plenty of Hoops supporters believe that is the case and if they are right, then perhaps that negative atmosphere doesn’t bode well for their chances of getting a result in Milan.
