Many Celtic fans on Twitter have been sharing their thoughts on the latest performance from Hoops full-back Greg Taylor during their recent 3-0 win away at Hamilton Academical.

Goals from Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and David Turnbull secured all three points for Neil Lennon’s side against Hamilton, but it was Taylor display in the match that caught the attention of a lot of Hoops fans, but for all the wrong reasons.

So, what did these Celtic fans make of Taylor’s performance against Hamilton?

“How Greg Taylor is a football player baffles me”

@callumcraig1234

“Greg Taylor, based on what…. he’s garbage”

@Frankie94542310

“Greg Taylor, I bet he struggles to get over his own doorstep. Every cross he tries, blocked.”

@stef18881

“Greg Taylor is where momentum goes to die.”

@RyTweetsThings

“One of biggest problems we have is that Greg Taylor can’t get a ball into the box when he’s in a good position. It seems for the most part that he keeps hitting the 1st defender. This is drastically reducing clear cut chances in the box for us.”

@paulconn75

“How did Greg Taylor ever get a move to us”

@mikeeeconnelly

“Greg Taylor is so unbelievably terrible”

@mikeyk_67

“Greg Taylor is actually pathetic at football”

@mcc0nville

Do you think Greg Taylor is good enough to play for Celtic?

Celtic signed the 23-year-old, who is currently valued at £720k, back in September 2019 from Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee.

Since then, the defender has made 34 appearances for the Hoops in which he has managed to score one goal and provide 10 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at this group of tweets from these Celtic fans, it’s obvious that they weren’t happy with his display against Hamilton despite being on the winning team and managing to keep a clean sheet in the process.

However, with Glasgow Times giving Taylor a match rating of 7/10 and saying that he “got upfield to initiate and complement Celtic attacks on numerous occasions,” it appears that they thought differently to these Hoops fans.
