Celtic fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Hoops goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas.
During the first half of the Bhoys’ SPFL match against St. Johnstone, many Celtic fans were not impressed by what they were seeing from the Greek shot-stopper, with many flocking to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance in the match so far.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about Barkas?
Barkas was poor there, should be punching that clear. Eddy should be burying that chance, nice ball through from McGregor

Celtic signed the 26-year-old, who is currently valued at £4.5 million, back in the previous summer transfer window from AEK Athens for a fee of £4.5 million.
Bittons a better keeper than Barkas.

Is Barkas good enough to play for Celtic?
Yes
No
Since then, the shot-stopper has made 16 appearances for the club, prior to their match against St. Johnstone, in which he has managed to concede 17 goals and keep eight clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).
Barkas planning on making any saves today?#CelticFC

Indeed, the ‘keeper’s performance against AC Milan certainly won’t have pleased fans (4/10 rating, 67 Hail Hail), and looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Celtic fans have not been completely encouraged by what they have seen from Barkas in the first half.
Hopefully, the 26-year-old has a better second half and can help his side pick up all three points.
