Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Hoops manager Neil Lennon.

This comes after Scottish football journalist Alison Conroy shared a post on her official Twitter page relaying comments made by Lennon during his latest press conference ahead of the Bhoys’ SPFL clash against Dundee United.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

Conroy revealed that Lennon isn’t looking to sign a goalkeeper in January and that he has no targets for the transfer window as yet but is looking at options, saying that he is “quite content” with his squad “at the minute”.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans, who were not shy in airing their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about Neil Lennon’s stance on the January transfer window?

“I’m shocked that they aren’t prepared or have a plan. Shocked. Jokers.”

@1888_Originals

“If we’re not looking for replacements in January then it is negligence on behalf of manager,another reason he has to go,either that the board don’t trust him with any more money,in which case he has to go!”

@Swanny_67

“Wow”

@RyanMcGoldrick_

“That sums up why he should be out of a job.”

@toptim77

“He’s in no position to make signings. He should already be out of a job, he’s needs 3pts against UtD and nothing but a win at Ibrox to see out the season.”

@MrCrowleyoto

“Disgrace”

@cmpeake7

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Hoops fans are not happy with what Lennon had to say about the upcoming January transfer window.

Do you think Celtic should sign some new players in January?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Considering how Lennon guided the club to just 12 wins in the SPFL out of a possible 17 so far this season prior to their match against Dundee, maybe strengthening their squad in January could be beneficial for the club as they look to catch up to Rangers at the top of the league table and secure the club’s 10th league title in a row.
