Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest news surrounding the Hoops and their upcoming Europa League clash against AC Milan.
This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post relaying comments made by Hoops manager Neil Lennon during his latest press conference ahead of the midweek game.
During the press conference, Lennon revealed that Mohamed Elyounoussi will not be travelling with the rest of the team for the match and that Shane Duffy is “having his knee assessed” after picking up a knock.
Lennon also added that he will “still put a strong team out and give some players some much-needed game time as well.”
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update from Lennon.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about this update from Neil Lennon?
Forgot Lennon was still employed. Thanks for ruining my day Celtic

I’ve never wanted us to lose ever but I honestly hope we get beat about 10-0

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that this group of Celtic fans are not pleased with these latest comments from Lennon on their upcoming Europa League clash and would like to see him get the sack.
Given how Celtic have only won one out of their nine previous games across all competitions, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that these Hoops fans are not particularly pleased with Lennon at this moment in time.
If the team can get a good result and put in a decent performance against AC Milan, this could help Lennon start to get these fans back on his side.
