Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post surrounding the dates for two of the SPFL games they have in hand.

This comes after Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph shared a post on his official Twitter account revealing the fixture dates for two out of the three league games Celtic currently have in hand.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

In his post, Joseph revealed that Celtic’s first game in hand will be against Aberdeen on Wednesday, February 17 at 7pm and their next league game in hand will be against St. Mirren on Wednesday, March 3 at 7:45pm.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.

So, what did these Celtic fans make of this news?

One fan even claimed that ‘cheating’ is continuing. Celtic seemingly fell out with Sky Sports back in February, so perhaps that could be a reason for that specific fans’ claim.

“They’re miles away!”

“Glad they are postponed until we pick up some consistency”

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that some Hoops fans are not best pleased with the dates for these fixtures. With the club currently 16 points behind Rangers, even with the three games in hand, they would still be seven points behind them if they had won the three missing games.

With these two games that Joseph spoke about in his post not set to be played until February and March, there’s every possibility that the Hoops could fall even further behind Rangers by the time they play these two games.
Moving forward, these Celtic fans will undoubtedly be hoping that their team doesn’t drop any points until they play these two games so they will have the best chance of catching Rangers and securing their tenth league title in a row.
