Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from former Hoops defender Jozo Simunovic.
This comes after the Croatian shared a post on his official Twitter page congratulating his former teammates on recently winning the Scottish Cup by beating Hearts on penalties.
In his post, Simunovic included a picture of the celebrations from Sunday’s win and added the caption “well done Bhoys.”
This post from the defender then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their responses to the 26-year-old.
So, what did these Celtic fans make of Simunovic’s post?
Get him back in January

Celtic signed Simunovic back in 2015 from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee of £6.75 million. The defender, who is currently valued at £1.98 million, made a total of 126 appearances for Celtic in which he managed to score five goals and provide three assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
Come home please

Now that Simunovic has shared this post congratulating Celtic on their latest Cup win, this opened the door for lots of Hoops fans to share their messages to the defender.

You should still be there.

Looking at the replies to Simunovic’s post, it seems that these Celtic fans would like to see the defender make a return to Parkhead in the future, which just goes to show how much they admire him and value him as a player.
Given how Celtic managed to concede three goals against Hearts in the recent Cup Final and have conceded a total of 14 goals in 15 SPFL games so far this season, maybe a return to the club for Simunovic should be something the club considers doing to help strengthen their defence.
